Big Build Volume, Soft Filament: Creality Opens Pre-orders for the Ender-3 V3 Mega

Creality Brand News · July 21, 2026

Creality has opened pre-orders for the Ender-3 V3 Mega, a large-format FDM printer built around two things that don't usually come in the same box: a 420mm cubic build volume and dependable printing of soft 85A TPU straight from the factory — no mods, no tuning. Pre-orders opened July 20 at 20:00.

A 420mm Cube That Prints Big Parts in One Piece

Every axis of the build volume runs 420mm, so helmets, props, and other oversized parts come off the bed as a single piece instead of being split, glued, and sanded back together. A one-piece aluminum gantry keeps the frame rigid when the machine moves fast. Creality is pitching this printer at production work, not just hobby projects: top speed of 500mm/s, a 1000W heated bed that warms up in six minutes to hold down large first layers, and automation that takes much of the manual babysitting out of batch runs.

The Real Headline: Stable 85A TPU

Most desktop printers top out around 90A TPU, and the parts come out stiff. The V3 Mega carries Creality's second-generation, in-house Sprite extruder and is rated across the full 85A–95A TPU range — down to ultra-soft 85A, roughly the hardness of a cushioned shoe insole. That is what makes flexible footwear, soft wearables, and rubber-like functional parts practical on a desktop machine.

Built to Run Unattended

Every unit ships with an auto filament-feeding system that splices in a fresh spool when one runs out and flags tangles in real time, so an overnight batch doesn't quietly turn into scrap. An 81-point auto-leveling routine handles bed calibration on its own, and smart ringing optimization smooths out the surface echoes left by fast travel moves.

Fleet Control Out of the Box

Wi-Fi printing runs through the Creality Print 7.0 app: check progress and start or stop jobs from a phone, or run a whole print farm from one screen and push files to every machine at once.

Who It's For

Creality frames the V3 Mega around four kinds of users:

Built for production work, not just hobby projects.
Large format 3D printed parts
One-piece prints mean no splitting, gluing, or sanding.
